This site is deliberately simple, and so is this notice. It explains, in plain English, what little information passes through the site and how it is handled.

Who we are

ADDW Consulting is the consultancy of Alex Dukes, advising the owners of windows and doors companies in the UK. For anything to do with this notice or your personal information, email alexdukes658@hotmail.com.

What this site does not do

This website does not collect personal information in the ways many websites do. It has:

  • no contact forms;
  • no analytics;
  • no marketing or tracking cookies; and
  • no third-party embeds.

There is nothing on these pages that profiles you, follows you to other websites, or passes your details to advertisers.

If you email us

The way to get in touch through this site is by email. If you email us, we receive what you choose to send — your email address and whatever you write. We handle it as ordinary business correspondence: we use it to reply to you and to carry on the conversation you started, and for nothing else. If you would like your correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.

One cookie, while the site is in preview

While this site is in private preview, it sets one strictly necessary cookie: addw_gate. It records that you entered the preview password, so you are not asked for it on every page. It is an httpOnly cookie, it expires after around 30 days, and it contains no personal information. When the site launches publicly, the preview gate — and this cookie — will be removed.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Railway. As part of running and securing the service, Railway keeps standard server access logs — the IP address, browser user agent and timestamp of each request. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you (access);
  • correct anything that is wrong or out of date (correction); and
  • delete your information (deletion).
